The listing of suggested camping sites in this document goes from north to south on the Standing Stone Trail, so the backpacker would be travelling southbound from the end of the Greenwood Spur that intersects the Mid State Trail near Detweiler Run Natural Area to Cowan’s Gap State Park.
All of the campsites listed are located on permitted areas for overnight camping.
It is important to note that overnight camping is not permitted on any State Game Land property, so use the maps on this website in conjunction with this listing to assist you in finding other permitted areas for campsites.
